The signup sheet lists a few of the more important terms of service. If you agree to the terms, click the box indicating your agreement, and fill out the form asking for some basic information on you.
This information is mostly used to identify you in case there is any question about who owns your site, but we also try to use this information to figure out what we're doing right - and wrong - in running Paulding Homes.
How do I get started?
All accounts start out as free accounts. They are then upgraded to premium accounts.
The first step is to choose the neighborhood in which to locate. If you are a retailer or wholesaler, you need to be in Downtown. If your site is R- or X-rated, you need to be Erotica (even if your site isn't really erotica). Otherwise, you should pick a neighborhood which feels comfortable to you.
If none of the neighborhoods seems quite right, you can contact the zoning commission and ask for a neighborhood that suits you.
What's this about "View File Types"?
If you check HTML, the file manager shows only files with .htm, .html, and .shtml extensions.
If you check IMAGES, the file manager shows only files with .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg extensions.
If you check OTHER, the file manager shows everything *except* files ending in .htm, .html, .shtml, .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg.
If you check ALL FILES, it shows everything.

Your account is created. An index.html page is inserted in your home directory. We send you email telling you how to access the control panel for your account. Your password is in that email, so keep an eye out for it.
If you don't receive the email within 10 minutes - or within 5 days if you are on AOL - then there is something wrong. Usually, the problem is that you gave us the wrong email address.
