The drive out to the Oasis is quite thrilling. The natives drive like a bat out of hell along the twisty hilly roads. I zoom along at 55 to 60 and they pass while issuing the one fingered peace sign. | The Oasis of Austin, Texas is more famous for its sunset views over Lake Travis than its food. I found the fried Jumbo Shrimp most excellent. I tried to get a sequence showing the setting sun. The quality is low because of low light and aiming into the sun. I changed position several times because of the moving crowds. Ignore the big breasted mermaid! |
